i've encountered people who know nothing about politics, who suddenly feel so moved and have such strong feelings right now. Is it just that ucranians are white? Or is it more that russia is the enemy? What what makes this war so relatable and resonant to to americans? I mean, it's been the coverage of ucraine in the us. Media, in the english media, is pretty unbelievably. But i don't say one sided, because, again, there's o justification for what russia is doing.
Sophie Pinkham and Nick Mulder on the war, its origins, how it’s being experienced by Ukrainians, Russians, Europeans, and Americans—and also its geopolitical and global economic ramifications, particularly sanctions.
