The Importance of Explicit Arguments in Data Science Classes

I think when you teach a graduate class like I have for 20 years, like you can get away with a lot more stuff just because the graduate students are just more mature and they can figure stuff out. They're not going to complain they're too intimidated to like complain to you directly. For me, it's always like I want to burn this whole thing down to the ground and start over.
