Are All Independent Schools Charitable?
There is a huge range of independent schools. The public perception might be that they're all like eating, but actually there's only one school like Eden and that's Eden. And so the school where I was head, we spent a fair amount of money to help children get through their education with us. We also spent quite a bit of time and pupil time to building and supporting a school in Nepal. So, you're actually doing stuff internationally sometimes in the poorest countries in the world. Are all independent schools bog standard? Absolutely not.
