Is There Something in the Water?

I wouldn't even imagine these teenagers doing anything. They just seem like despondent whenever you go, because I live very close to the high school that I went to. You can call America a representative democracy all you want, but that's not what we have. The teaching of classical political philosophy, my area of expertise, it's always emphatic that once you lose the institutions of education, that's what your regime is. And so if you want to know the status of your nation, of your people, just look what's going on in particular at the secondary schools.
