Katherine Whitehead is a professor of Chemical and Biomedical Engineering at Carnegie Mellon. She wants to make sure that when we take any kind of medication, it goes to the right place inside of our bodies. The new technology she's working on is the COVID-19 Messenger RNA, or mRNA vaccine.
