The first conversation about financial independence is not the time to start throwing daggers at bad habits. Show them what's in it for them and paint a picture of a better life. Don't get discouraged if the first time doesn't get them amped up. Somee need time to process things before they can get on board or get excited. Just focus on the positives, cause you're just planting a seed. And remember, money is just an expression of values.
