The Rise of Materialism in the Age of Recession
In the 80s, there are all these things emerged because of increased materialism. And in general, there is increased materialism in time so that economic strife,. like a pretty solid metric is that plastic surgery rates tend to rise among the middle classes during times of recession. I do think it comes from a generation of women who try to break some kind of intergenerational issue of dating deadbeats or being kind of like a struggle wife.
