The Problem With Scientism

Scientism is a form of authoritarianism often masquerading as scientific rationality. It's incumbent upon the rest of us to say, well, models always have elasticity. Models are only as good as the laws you think exist that govern your system. The conditions you think you've been able to measure to produce the prediction are always exceedingly difficult since we won't go into right now.
