The Influence of Lola on Bart's Morality
Karl Barth's mistress Lola was an author in her own right, a theologian. She has composed and published some stuff that I've never read. But if you read the correspondence between her and him, it becomes at once clear that Barth is doing some theology when he is trying to justify their relationship. He justifies his contemplation of divorcing his wife by expounding on the seventh commandment.
