The Battle Over Scheduled Charter Operations

A battle is brewing over airlines operating under part 135 and 380 certificates that allowed a hiring of pilots with only 250 hours for scheduled charter operations. The major pilots union, the airline pilots association, and some airlines have started to protest what's going on with scheduled charter. They're asking DOT to clarify rules. It'll be many years before we open terminal F and get to experience it. I'm sure it'll be very nice but also costly to all travelers at DFW.
