Mortgage Rates - What's the Difference Between 30 and 15 Year Fixed?
There's a difference between 30 and 15 fixed, lower risk for the bank whenever you're locking a shorter term. So things that drive outside of the terms of the loan, other factors that change. I would be more inclined to think rates might actually go back down a little bit next summer than be higher than they are, by the end of the year.
