A prisoner was transported to Scripps Mercy Shores Hospital room 329. The patient told the doctor he didn't feel well and needed some test on him. He refused a blanket, his eyes were red and sunken with no signs of brain activity or life. "There is no reason this guy should be alive even if he had an artificial heart function," says Dr. Michael Lomax.
