The Monk's Nose
The story of Zenchi, a Buddhist monk who hated his nose. He could never eat dinner alone because it would fall into his porridge. People in the temple said he was so ugly that no woman would ever want to be his wife. This made it very difficult to focus on meditation and chanting sutras which were the roles of a Buddhist monk like him.
