Is It a Little Bit Pessimistic to Say That?

i agree, but i like the argument because it's so counter to what i think as a sort of technological optimist. The counter argument is that it's always taken time for new technologies to spread and for people to use them properly in the work force. And i think a lot of children, when they go and visit their parents during one of these kind of work days, perhaps it's very hard to see how that generates anything useful. If you go to a post scarcity economy, then much of this stuff that we do with investment would become irrelevant anyway. You don't need retirement funds if essentially all of your looked after free of charge by a universal fabricato,. or whatever it is
