Is Marxism Compatible With Animal Cruelty?

I don't think of Marxist countries as having particularly stringent animal rights. Maybe that's one of the cases in which they betrayed the ideals of the revolution. As we're often covering on the show, we've never had a real communist country. All the backyard smelters and all the five year plans and the forced famines. Killed millions of Ukrainians and several bears. But it's yeah. And the Venn diagram overlaps it all the dead. So I guess our question whether or not it is compatible with Marxism does not apply here.
