Do You Have a Dog That Has a Great Recall?

There's these kind of wives tales about what breeds you can never have off leash. And one of my most successful students in my recall classes was a doxand. They always did better than the people in the class that had the goldens and the border collies. I continue to tell everybody that it's about how hard you train, about histor history ofreo ment. If you decide still that your dog is not safe being off leash, then don't let them off leash. But still work very, very hard on that recall because it's a safety issue. You never know when you're going to need it so continue to work it.
