A High Throughput Approach to Experimentation
When I see people like David or to some extent Gary Marcus, certainly Noam Chomsky critiquing approaches to AI, that seems to me like a big part of what they're saying. And they're not very happy with a situation where people essentially say, let's just go down all of them and rely on the ability to recognize at the end. The thrust of the AI researchers seems to be there much happier, just trying a very large number of different things.
