Are We Ultimately Going to Discover God?

I think Westworld and Lost are two different images of what can go wrong. It's very easy to do a good first season of a mystery show or even a good first five seasons. But ending mystery shows is really hard. And I think going forward, there's a bigger risk that severance could jump the shark. So we may get several good years out of it before that happens. Because often the ultimate reveal of the mystery is that there's nothing there. This is the Wizard of Oz kind of final moment.
