How to Give an Antibiotic to a Kid With Asthma Exacerbations
There's like a 20 to 25% of patients, whether they're children or adults have an asthma exacerbation who are prescribed an antibiotic. And so they weren't telling you why they were using the antibiotic. So it's really hard to know that we don't have data that in general our hospitalized kids are getting or improving by being given antibiotics. The only ones that I'm going to ever think about doing it is,. older kid who has a scenario that really sounds like walking pneumonia as all as part of this.
