The Bar Culture of the Pandemic
A number of bar owners throughout the Bay Area that I spoke to said that things have not gotten better. People still aren't coming back in the numbers they used to, and their finances aren't really penciling out very well. One bar owner told me he's about $200,000 in debt now. You're doing it even more than I can. Maybe in two years, I'll be thinking, I think I kept this place.
