He spent most of the 19 seventies in french prisons for any number of crimes including fraud, embezzlement, identity theft and other crimes along those lines. The police found a number of women from australia and elsewhere who had been in relationships with blum that came to a bad ind when they discovered he wasn't who he said he was.
