The Problem With the Internet
The problem or the problematic zone of the internet that most concerns me is what I sometimes call the phenomenological internet. We're not living, we're not experiencing a neutral feed with information just coming in as it's produced but rather we're subordinated to algorithms which effectively make communication something more like a video game. And ever since this has been the name of the game, we have been effectively tricked into believing that we have a communication medium when in fact what we have is a massively multiplayer online video game That simulates communication without facilitating it.
