The Federal Reserve Board's Request for Participation in a Pilot Climate Change Study
The Federal Reserve Board has asked six major banks to participate in a pilot climate change study. Some people felt it was a bit of an overreach; we're not even talking about climate change yet. Others thought it just didn't ask enough. It only focused on two areas, physical risk and transition risk. And really didn't touch upon too much in terms of greenhouse gas emissions and emission programs. But I think it's a very solid first step forward.
