i have to think robin well kimmere and ing sweet grass for really planting that seed of understanding reciprocity in my daily life. This is an indigenous concept that our own ancestors also practise, right? For if we are harvesting from our garden, what are we giving in thanks? And i offer ideas like, is it a song? Is it blowing a kiss? Is it leaving a strand of hair? I have a friend who her first harvest from her garden.
