i think it's really important to always say that transition needs to be an act that you do for yourself. selfishness can't ever be seen as a bad word when it comes to your own identity. sometimes, although maybe not in this exact case, i think that the sis people in our lives see our gender exploration as a little treat instead of a very critical part of our own growth in healing in the world.
