The British government is actually sitting on records of 106 million marriages over this period. By act of parliament, it costs $15 to see any one of those marriage records. Most of those records, only about 10 or 15% of them, is there any occupation recorded for the bride? And as I say, that's very hard to think about measuring assortment directly in these records. But it's pretty complete for the other parties.
