The Story of William Desmond Taylor
William desmond taylor was found shot to death in his apartment on February 1, 1968. Mabel norman and adolf zuker were among those who first arrived at the scene but assumed he had died of natural causes. Zuker's manager charles iton smuggled taylor's letters out of the house for an hour and a half until the coroner arrived. When the coroner did arrive, as if to preclude a investigation, Iton announced that taylor had died of a stomach hemorrhage. But once he felt cold blood underneath taylor's body, they turned the corpse over and found the bullet hole.
