The God of Love, You Fire All the Other Gods

i read a bishop the other day, again, talking about uvaldi. He was trying to be sympathetic to the community that suffered so much. And he says, as scripture tells us, god stands with the victims and not the victimizers. I mean, in you and i can have compassion for the person who did this. In what universe is god less compassionate than we are? Youre stealing a thought right from my probably 15 16, when i was starting to deconstruct.
