The Cost of Investing in Yorkshire Water

Most companies are over-investing to fix problems in the current five-year periods, which will be funded by shareholders. Just last month my shareholders put 400 million into Yorkshire water. We've got more pipes than you'd need if you just wanted to circumnavigate the earth, just in Yorkshire. And we will also be doing a lot of work on improving what's going into the rivers. Don't forget that the water system is a sort of circular system. So the quality that we're expecting coming out at the end of the circle, or that goes back into the rivers, has got higher and higher.
