It is fascinating that Elon's political arc in the last year has changed drastically. It hasn't happened to lots of other billionaires, and so it is a question as to will that encourage others or is this really just like a one-off? And it doesn't even seem deeply ideological. To your point, it seems more reactionary to the challenges he was facing uniquely. But I do think something that for whatever reason in this era, we're seeing that pay off more for more people.
