The Masoretic Tradition of the Dead Sea Scrolls
In Genesis 10, where there's the sons of Noah and it's the table of nations about the different nations that come from Shem and Ham and Japheth. And in the Masoretic tradition, there are three sections, but they're not JapheTH, Ham and Shem. Instead, they're JapheTh and Ham except for Canaan and then the second one is Canaan,. And then the last one is Shem. It really highlights the contrast between Canaan and Shem which fits into one of the themes for the end of Genesis one to 11 and sets up the rest of the Torah. That's really interesting actually, how that is telegraphed
