How Much Protection Does Metal Armor Provide?
The limiting of mobility actually was almost nonexistent. It wasn't that heavy either because it's mostly made out of lacquered materials. And I had no problem moving around doing all of the movements that I would normally do in my regular practice. When you suddenly have the blade and you're grappling with somebody and you put the blade where you're supposed to on the technique, suddenly you realize, oh, okay, that's going to cut off the string that holds up that piece of armor. Once it falls off, there's a massive new target that's been opened up.
