In the fifth or sixth grade, i learned how to suppress crying. And as a result, i didn't shed a tear for ten years. I mean, maybe one or two tears in very extreme circumstances. Throughout my adolescence and into his young adulthood, i never cried. No one explicitly told me that i couldn't cry. In fact, people explicitly told him that it was ok to cry.
