Alternative media has a responsibility to counter narratives against the left. We go across cultural, intellectual, emotional and aesthetic grounds in our work. I think humanizing ourselves is huge. And i always like to make this point that American culture degrades and dhumanizes communists but leaves us with general communist traditions. That really makes communists seem like these heartless villainous villains. But we're all fucking human beings as much as any other group of people out there. It doesn't matter what political party you are or where you come from - just don't take yourself too seriously when it comes to your own country's history.
