How to Learn English in a Traditional Education

Vietnamese people learn English in school from teenager from gerunds but in the traditional education they chose this grammar. It's so boring and I totally forgot everything. So when I in high school I don't feel that I'm interested in English. We didn't learn how to give a speech in English or how to give more detail in the conversation. Yes yes yes and when I learn in the English center they will I just feel it's take more time and I need to learn something that I don't want.
