Whatever You Do to the Poor, You Did to Me

"Whatever you do to the poor, you did to me," Jesus says in gospel of Matthew. "Here we have shades of that mystical body theology of Paul." The rabbis loved Proverbs where he who gives to the poor makes a loan to God and God will repay him. If you take care of these Christians and the poor, then you're blessing Jesus.
