The Donkey and the Female Subject
The donkey is in a circus and he has this very strangely intimate, almost erotic relationship with the woman who does the act with him. And then later on in the film, she kind of finds him, even though he's gone off and been sold and moved around various places. So it struck you as a kind of authentic document of donkey sensibility if I can put it like that.
