The Role of Melatonin in Neuronal Functions

Melatonin, the plant melatonin, was discovered in 1995. Scientists couldn't recognize it as melatonin because it was expected not to be had by those systems. It took seven, eight more years for the plant science community to agree Apple is labeled for this molecule that was not secreted by the pineal gland. And then they said, okay, let's add the prefix phyto for plant. And then it's called phyto melatonin. But it's the very same thing and plays the very same role. Do you see what I mean?
