In the 1930s, when global warming was climate change, there was this famous cartoon of Northern latitudes. And it turns out that as we are increasing our greenhouse gas emissions like this, we're running a kind of a poorly designed science experiment. We're warming the planet and seeing how it affects society and also our natural systems on earth.
