Hacker News - What's the Primary Differentiator?

I think what it was was people were just ready for an independent app to kind of take over this like personal finance space because you have Mint that's owned by Intuend and YNAB which is overly complex. And I think coming in with lunch money, you know, I position it as a delightful way to like manage your finances. It puts a different spin on something that's traditionally very like dry and serious. Yeah, and the fact that I was a solo founder, I coded everything myself, I designed everything himself, I think that's what resonated with the Hacker News community.
