The Symptoms of Kawasaki Disease
The dry eye is a little bit more pathanomonic for something other than Kawasaki disease. The discharge also more consistent with a viral etiology rather than Kawasaki's correct. So the distribution of the rash in KD, we see sometimes accentuation. It's kinda like you see the rash everywhere and then you take off the diaper or you pull down the underwear in the school age kit and you go, wow, that's really red as compared to all the spots and dots they have everywhere else. That combination of fever, rash and red eyes with arthritis or aarylthralgis is more likely to be KD than it is to be adenovirus.
