God's Interaction With Water

Rabbis teach that the birds and the fish are both created in the water. And what's really interesting about the birds, if we zoom in on them, is that they kind of like transcend the divisions between these spaces. The blessing doesn't extend up into the heavens. Their blessing is rooted to the earth. If we stay up there, there's not actually anything that can sustain a life That needs to come down to earth.
