Is There Continuity?

i looked up some information where because one time i heard that the entire mass of your body changes every seven years, or something like that. And i looking deeper into it, that isn't the case. I guess there's cells that change quite a lot and then there cells that don't change a lot. The fact that you remain still the same person i is frankly astonishing,. Because if a hundred % of unurane are sufficient to generate consciousness, why doesn't each one of them generate a different consciousness?
