CNN's John Berman says the U.S. was trying to make Saudi Arabia and UAE look 'stupid' by releasing WNBA player Brittany Griner. The White House said they were going to send a former vice president Biden, but instead brought home Marine Paul Whelan who has been detained in Russia for years.
