The Importance of Basic Income

I think for me she's like the average Tory or labor right voter who's just going to be skeptical of stuff like this. And I think if you can persuade her, you can probably persuade quite a few of them. It's really important that we actually put these ideas out there as provocations for people who just really, you know, are going to be absolutely outraged by this. That's engaging an argument. People stop thinking rationally when they hear about basic income because it goes against their ideology around work. You see all the YouTube videos now that have been made around this idea and it's very strong but at the same time its polarizing.
