Is Japan a Generation Ahead of the US?

I perceive Japan as being a little bit further ahead of the US in terms of they've got much more debt, much more government debt relative to the size of their population. So I think in some sense, there, I don't know if the US is necessarily going in that direction, but that's like the the Sentinel or the position that you could get. And if you don't reverse before you get to that point, and it doesn't seem to me like nothing really bad has happened so far for Japan,. Like so far is doing a lot of work in that sentence.
