The legend goes that whatever they've recovered at Roswell the Air Force Intelligence Officer on the scene Jesse Marcel later testified that there was a debris switch. Now did he just hear the rumors about Roswell and the alien crash saucer or did he see something and came up with that idea from that? Well it's arguable I'd say both ways.
