We have 20 billion dollars a year spent on animal experimentation. Nine out of ten drugs that pass animal tests fail in human beings because they don't work or are dangerous. There's very little return on investment for taxpayers, which is why we think that if this stuff is so important, let the gates foundation fund it. We know that there are not private foundations that are going to fund a lot of the stuff beause it's completely wasteful and irrelevant.
