You Don't Have the Right to Have an Opinion About This

Just because you're an identity group of someone does not mean you've had similar lived experiences yeah. Even if we took two people in that identity group who do have very very similar lived experiences and then you were to ask them like philosophically ideologically politically how do you make sense of the world they would have profoundly different answers. It actually isn't true that like lived experience just fundamentally flows into political ideology in this like smooth way it doesn't rightYeah so I think part of where this leads us is that it means that Like you can't hand off the responsibility of your politics and like your ethics and your principles and like what you think about things to whatever marginalized person is standing in front of you
