Platform Engineering: A Distinctive Approach to Decision Making

I think what y'all are describing are a trade off the startup would make when they're just designing things. Is platform engineering only going to work with sort of greenfield projects? Can we do it well? No. It's like, all right, we want developers to move faster. We need to make some platforming decisions so that we hide complexity from developers or we encourage them to have go down this similar path so we can support them better. And I could see Google doing the same thing for startups where you get this for free and it helps you grow faster and stuff like that.
